LESSON 18: Roles and Functions of an Educational Media Center.



Education Media Center (EMC) is a facility designed for the housing and utilization of educational media within the school. An EMC renders various kind of service. It’s services boil down to improving the teaching learning process by making it more interactive, collaborative, interesting and authentic. This lesson is very important in my life, because modern technology is approaching, because EMC is very important especially when I have a future job because I know to have a functional EMC facilitates my job, it help me to have no confidence in manipulation equipment especially for a power point presentation.

LESSON 17: Assessing in a constructivist, Technology supported learning.

  
              Authentic assessment measures collective abilities written and oral expression skills, analytical skills, manipulative skills (like computer skills) integration, creativity, and ability to work collaboratively. If we believe that the ways that we also need to rethink the ways that we evaluate learning. As a student I could apply this one especially if I have oral exams I should go beyond memorizing for test and I should not study because passing only for my passing and a passing grade but also I must study so that I could learn something new.

LESSON 16: Using the Project Base Learning. Multimedia as Teaching Learning Strategies.



This lesson emphasize the steps involve in the use of project base multimedia learning strategy who follow also some steps, to determine the objectives, to estimate, to make  clear, to set collaborative working, to determine what resources you will need and to plan on how you will measure what students learn. I could apply this lesson when I have worked already my project base on my learning multimedia to create power point and apply my learning strategy every time I have to present my proposal project doing this steps:
*Introducing my project
*Learning the technology
*Preliminary research and planning
*Concept design and story boarding
*First draft production
*Assessing, testing, and finalize
*Concluding activities
*Celebrate

LESSON 15: Project-Base Learning and Multimedia: What Is It?



Project-Base learning and multimedia is most of all anchored on the core curriculum. This means that project base and multimedia learning addresses the basic knowledge and skills all students are expected to acquire as laid down in the minimum competencies of the basic education curriculum. I apply this lesson being a students who end up with multimedia product to show what I am learned. I work collaboratively over an extended time frame, as I employ my skills including decision making. My learning ends up with a multimedia presentation through their multimedia product.

LESSON 14: Maximizing the used of the Overhead Projectors and the Chalkboard


Not all school may have TV, Computer, Radio and etc. but it will always have chalkboard because it is a classroom equipment and because it help us to used hard copies of the diagram or outline, don’t crowd your notes on the board make used to highlight key points ,and etc. And projector is also important because it is simple operated, use in the front of the room, class having observing student reactions, create their own materials, increasing number of high quality commercial transparencies. It helps this lesson on my daily insights because for me chalkboard is very important because it help me to organized outline to match what I do, don’t lose eye contact and etc.
 
Projector also help me progressive disclosure technique and show in motion on the screen.

LESSON 13: Teaching with Visual Symbols


                 Teaching with Visual Symbols will be made meaningful if we can used them us summaries of our own direct experiences. We cannot see real things but symbols produce a real world, like: drawings, cartoons, strip drawing, diagrams, formula, charts, graph, maps, and gobbles. It could help us perfect caption to have more effective teaching and more representations.  I could apply this when I teach my students in the future because I know that this is one of the most effective teaching strategy to make students easy to teach because it could help to integrate instructional process, in order to understood my students easier to more clearly than words for speaking in more about each of them and find out were they can be used.

LESSON 12: The Power Of Film, Video, and TV in the Classroom

 
                               The Film, Video, and TV are indeed powerful, Dale says that., It transmit a wide range of audio materials, brings models and the world of reality, make a see and hear, believable news source, programs understandable, a great equalize prude sounds and sights   , give opportunity to us, and can instructive and enjoyable. By this, the appeal of visual; medias continues to made film, videos, TV us a educational tools with high potentials impact. It can help us to develop of child’s ability to apply visualize and to be creative and imaginative, skill that are needed in problem solving, help us for enrichment of the lesson with the used of TV, Video and film, to make things that learning process more concrete, lively, colorful and interactive.
